Recruiting Entrepreneurial Mentors
Duration: Fall Semester
Approximate Hours Per Week: 3
WeThrive is looking for college student mentors for it’s entrepreneurial mentor program that pairs college students with middle and high school students. WeThrive mentors walk youth participants through the creation of business ventures where they sell products and services and, more importantly, learn valuable life skills such as public speaking, habit adoption, setting a vision and goal setting strategies. Mentors are trained prior to entering the classroom and provided with ongoing coaching to ensure success.
Mentors will work with middle school students of low-income backgrounds in the local area. The specific school will be local to your college campus. Student mentors will be trained prior to entering the classroom, and provided with ongoing coaching via phone to ensure success.
This is a great opportunity for any college student looking to get involved in the local community and gain insight into what it truly means to think and act like an entrepreneur.
